The route through the province of Malaga enters from Cadiz from Jimena dela Frontera to Gaucín, from here you take direction to the mountain village of Cortes de la Frontera, passing through royal stockroutes and following the GR-7 to the turistic town of Ronda. From here to Antequera following part of the “Ruta de los Almorávides de la Fundación Legado Andalusí” which is an ancient road used by the Moorish people. From Antequera we again use the GR-7 to leave the province through Ventas de Zafarraya.
