For this section we leave from Aroche on the trail towards Cabezas Rubias. After a gentle 8 km descent, we reach Puente de la Peramora where a very long climb awaits (with a downhill zone in the middle). This takes us to a place near The Forestry Center of El Mustío. Here we turn and follow a trail downhill to Ribera de la Fresna which takes us to "La Corta" (flooded mine) de San Telmo. After making our way around it, we reach the mining town of the same name.
